Mountain of Food ExploRace 2.0 Day 1!

After checking into our fabulous Superior Deluxe Room at First World Hotel, we were asked to meet up at Galleria for the Explorace to begin. Wonder what will happen! ^^

We met up with bloggers from China and Indonesia. They were flown in exclusively by Genting Resort World for Mountain of Food ExploRace 2.0. Things were getting exciting from this point on because no one has any idea if the challenge has begun or not. 

We were finally divided into pairs and all the International bloggers were paired with Malaysian bloggers. My lucky partner that day was a Seremban guy, an awesome photographer ; Hu Boon ! We were lucky Team 2. 

After the briefing and all, it turned out that the "pre-challenge" was just to get all of us excited. Talk about making me palpitated. LOL. No challenge for us but we we given the opportunity to watch FREEZE.  An awesome Magic show on Ice! *excited*

The show to me was amazing, for reason being that I have never been to a magic show. But there were hits and misses during the show. Flaws here and there is normal for a show, what more on ICE! 

Well, if you want to visit your childhood, this will somehow evoke those memories. I would say I love it and enjoy it well! The show runs from now till 13 August 2012. For more information, you can check it out here. 

psst: We have gotten our clue for the next day, it stated that "You have to be at WorldClub Lounge by 9pm wearing your Wrangler's jeans and t-shirt with your partner". Wuhuu...now where is the WorldClub Lounge???

MoFE : First World Hotel, Genting Highland.

As mentioned in previous post, I was away for 4 Days 3 Nights at Genting Highland. It was in conjunction with Mountain of Food Explorace 2.0! And it was fully sponsored! :D

The first 2 nights we were in Genting Highland, we were given a Superior Deluxe Room at First World Hotel. Each of us was given a room each! And me being the scared-of-staying-alone kind of person, forced my partner to sleep with me. Thanks Boon! 

The room was spacious, rich and modern. Me being the person who usually stays at hostels while traveling was kinda awestruck by the awesomeness of the room. Mind you, I had a great time soaking myself in the bathtub.

The view from the room was the best part of it, I mean, some of the room will not face the Theme Park directly but it was still an amazing view! Imagine being 6000m above the sea level. 

Unfortunately there is no Wi-fi in the room at First World Hotel but I have to thank Yes 4G got powering us up for 5 hours. Glad aren't we? ;)

Mountain of Food Race 2.0 Snippet!

Phewww...just arrived safely home after racing through the 4 days and 3 nights at Genting Highland for Mountain of Food Race 2.0 ! 

And we were given 2 hotels to stay in; First World Hotel and Awana Genting! The rooms were not just the typical normal room! I stayed in Superior Deluxe room in First World Hotel and was given Club Suite at Awana Genting! Isn't that awesome? 

Not only the rooms were awesome, we had the most amazing time eating in Genting Highland.  More to come in next posts! :D

Next Adventure Begins at Genting Highland!

Been a while since I last updated. Honestly been busy with food reviews and traveling. I have yet to get the chance to go back abroad. Finding time soon! *crossing fingers*

And I'm leaving for Genting Highland tomorrow for 4 days 3 nights. Will be staying at 2 hotels; First World Hotel and Awana Genting! I have to thank Genting Highland and Nuffnang for sponsoring this trip! I am one luck Rayyan Haries! 

Besides being there, I'll be involved in their Mountain of Food Race 2 (MoFe 2.0) that will consist a few challenging task with other bloggers!Seems that, Genting Highland has also called in bloggers from overseas. Cool move! Can't wait to make new friends.

Genting Theme Park - (Sky Venture)

Kabare? Waras? Haha...hari ni kita sambung post Genting Theme Park, Kota Keriangan! Lepas lunch, kitaorang take a lil break sebab the next activity ni bakal mengeluarkan segala isi perut. We all did THE SKY VENTURE! woot2! 

Muka yang kekenyangan teramat. Sorry mejah, I photobomb you.haha

Pengalaman seolah2 anda sedang terjun dari kapal terbang dari ketinggian 29,000Ft! Tanpa parachute lah kan? Haha...yang sedihnya they only accept people with a max weight of 114Kg. I miss out for a few kgs..sobs..sobs... what to do. Jadi official photographer lah! haha...

Korang mesti tak perasan that benda ni ada kat Genting Theme Park kan? It's a bit secluded, so kena tengok map sikit lah. Actually the entrance ni dekat ngan Pizza Hut jer.

Hah, takpa model saya hari ni kak ruby akan tunjukkan, sila tengok belakang yer adik2..hehe

So, what the heck is Sky Venture kan? 

Genting Sky Venture is a state of the art skydiving wind tunnel that gives ordinary people the chance to feel the thrill and sensation of jumping out of an airplane and freefalling through the sky just like a skydiver. 

You will experience the ultimate skydiving simulator fly in winds up to 193 km/hr in the one and only wind tunnel in Asia!

So, before we want to play this amazing sky-diving simulator, kena lah pakai attire yang proper. Bukak segala jam, rantai, bangles , basically everything hanging on you, silalah bukak. Kang tak pasal2 choking dalam air tunnel tu..ish2..

Sian budak comel ni, berat terlebih setong, ni lah yang dapat dia terbang pon..haha

Ni baru complete, dengan ear plugs and helmet. We are all set to jump! wuhuuuu

Before you enter the wind tunnel, there will be briefing conducted by the expert/trainer. Yang bestnya is that ours is so much fun and funny! Siap buat lawak lagi...salute2! :D

The 1st group, photographer pon kena pakai proper attire tau! haha.. 

Instructions are easy, benda macam hand gestures, body position, flying positions and etc. So korang takyah takut lah, it's practically safe and they will adjust the wind speed with your weight. 

Ni cara terbang yang betul2 ye adik2, jangan salah terbang, kang melayang merata2..hehe

Now you are ready to fly and experience flying off gravity! 

Don't worry, dalam tu ada instructor so korang tak lah fly sorang2. Btw, this is John Ho! :D

Ni hah lah kakak kesayangan saya, kak ruby, ni time nak fly ala2 helicopter ngan instructor!

You'll get 2 minutes each to fly. Sounds short kan? But when you are in the tunnel, 2 minutes lama tau. They divided the time to 2, first you'll be flying solo then you'll do helicopter motions with the instructor. Ramai yang cakap part yang Heli tu terbaik, seriously terbaik! Genting Theme Park - (What and where to EAT)

Hello2, kita sambung cerita Genting yeah! Aritu aku ada cakap yang untuk lunch kitaorang dibawak gi makan kat this really good restaurant kan? Genting was so generous that we had Chinese Seafood at Happy Valley Seafood! Hambek ko, atas2 bukit pon ada seafood okay! Yang pasti HALAL! 

Duk diam2, gue nak ambik gambar. Hai abang polis belakang tu, saya tak "bersih" eh. :P

Restaurant Happy Valley Seafood ni terletak bersebelahan pintu masuk utama Genting Theme Park. In fact, from The Spinner korang dah boleh nampak restaurant ni. Selain they serve awesome and scrumptious seafood, the view dari restaurant ni buat gue sebak. Cantik ciptaan ilahi. insaf!

Semua muka2 lapar, kak lily senyum tak hinggat! ;)

Ni gambar yang aku ambik, subhanallah, cantik kan. :') 

Walaupun penantian for the food to be out to sangat mencabar iman, sebab kitaorang ramai kan? Plus with the customers in the restaurant, but the waiting was worth it giler! Makanan from chili prawns, seafood soup, mixed vegetables, steamed catfish, thai tofu as well dessert! Yummieh! 

Chinese tea, typical drink to enhance your digestion of extra lemak!

bendi, terung, kacang panjang and petai goreng belacan! Ni sampai dulu, healthy sgt!

ni nampak je macam bland tapi filled with isi ikan, prawns, squids! 

Ni jadi rebutan kat meja kitaorang, udang garing and chili dia mantap! 

1st time makan ikan patin masak steam macam ni, tak rasa sungai pon! 

Aku peminat tofu tegar, benda ni aku lah yang lahap! haha..

Time dessert ni aku ambik seketoi jer, bukan tak sedap, tak mampu makan dah! T_T 

Time ni dah senak perut, seriously diorang jamu kitaorang kaw2. Siap tanya nak tambah apa2 lagi tak, semua geleng kepala.haha.. dah lah lepas lunch ni kitorang bakal terjun dari langit! Hah! Tu aku cover dalam post seterusnya, siap kena tulis wasiat semua weh!

Genting Thrill Rides Day Out! -The Rides

Hello, last thursday Aku dan #GengBusGenting were invited to Genting Thrill Rides Day out with Nuffnang Bloggers! Pengalaman yang sangat menarik walapun dah pernah ke Genting Theme Park before this, day out ni sangat2 bermakna kerana ada #GengBusGenting. 

Excited dah ni!! Padahal tak ingat tengah sakit.T_T

Mesti korang tertanya2 kan siapa lah makcik2, kakak2, adik2, dan abg #GengBusGenting ni kan? hehe...Mereka ialah Rabiatul Adawiyah, Cik Lily Putih, Hamzah Ian, PenMerah, NisaKay, UzairOthman, John Ho, HafizHafizol, Yen Ling and Lufti Syafiq. Muka2 ni lah yang anda akan nampak kalau sebut2 Genting Theme Park! 

Muka2 mengantuk dan kesejukan kerna Genting was REALLY COLD! 

So, kitaorang sampai2 jer, terus orang Genting ajak masuk and naik rides! Dengan sejuknya semua, kitaorang split 2 groups so boleh naik macam2. Alkisahnya, aku baru recover dari GERD beberapa hari lepas, so terpaksa forgo naik segala2 rides kat Genting ni untuk avoid apa2 kejadian tak diinggini. Sad!

1st thing our group did was the Solero Shot! Wuhuu..terbaik aku cakap! Walaupun tak naik, tengok dari bawah dah ngeri dah! Jantung wa tercabut beb! For those who loves the thrilss, this is the perfect one! 

Hanya 5 orang yang berani main, yang lain. cuak! haha

Tinggi giler! budak2 ni cakap sampai nampak KL lah! perghh

The only thing I could play was the Grand Prix Fun Kart. Sebab ride ni takda tunggang terbalik, it's basically Go-Kart! Honestly this is 1st time aku naik Go-Kart, seriously best! Pengalaman sehari jadi ala2 Michael Schumacher, korang boleh drift, pecut, tersenguk, or apa2 jer. For 5 minutes, the road is yours babeyh! 

Briefing keselamatan jalan raya- 1st rule, lu takleh langgar member lain, out you go! xD

Satu2 nya blogger yang terlebih excited sebab ni jer yang dia boleh main. sadis!

Thrill rides didn't end here of coz! The whole group termasuk orang2 Genting yang sporting went on The Pirate Ship. Aku telah officially jadi photographer untuk semua orang. Benda ni nampak jer dia swing2, tapi effect dia terbaik! Cer tengok muka2 diorang, semua nak keluar muntah hijau! haha

Suka gambar ni, macam floating in the air! 

Diorang ni hardcore2 theme park giler, exactly after this thing, mampu lagi main The Spinner. Benda ni macam korang naik buaian tapi yang extreme sikit. It turns 360 degrees, in full speed giving you amazing views with the thrill! 

Ni lah The Spinner, tergantung ko atas tu!

Lepas semua dah penat meng-thrill-kan diri2 mereka, kitaorang jadi budak2 balik bila nampak Double Deck Carousel ni! Actually ride ni lebih kepada kanak2 ribena, tapi kitaorang perasan kecik semua..haha... 

Kuda ni leh turun naik tau! Terbaik mampu tampung berat aku! xD

Comel tak? Cepat cakap comel! hahahah...

Lepas, ride ni we stopped for lunch dekat this marvelous restaurant. I will cover this in the next post okay? Disebabkan day out ni and Genting Theme Park sangat Awesome, aku akan keluar kan beberapa series of entry! :D

A date with NisaKay.

Alkisahnya bila aku tau NisaKay dah single, apa lagi, terus ajak dating lah! Kitorang keluar date dekat Genting Theme Park. Sejuk2, fefeeling comel tu terlebih lah.haha.. Kalau korang tengok gambar semua ni, inilah tunjuk ajar NisaKay cara2 untuk nampak "cute" dalam gambar.

Nah Bukti! Aku tak tipu :P

Maaf lah jejaka yang rasa anda hot kat luar sana. Anda kalah dengan budak  "comel" ni. Apa lagi, kalau nak masuk line silalah comel2 kan diri anda! hahaha.... My tips, duduk kat buffet line 24 jam, definitely esoknya jadi mcm aku!

Ini adalah trademark minah comel ni! Cucuk dagu anda dan pam lah pipi seperti buntal! :P

Best keluar ngan NisaKay ni, ada time tu aku dapat sembang2 dengan dia. Honestly, sebelum aku kenal personally blogger hebat2 macam dia, aku selalu ingat diorang ni mesti sombong. Boyyy...am I wrong! She is super friendly, tak sengan nak bercerita and yang penting tak segan nak bergambar!

Dan ni cubaan untuk hide "lemak2" belakang NisaKay yang kurus ni! hihi

So, korang rasa macam mana? Convincing that yang aku dapat ajak minah comel ni keluar date? Hehe...apa kata korang tanya NisaKay sendiri? ;)
