Hong Kong Disneyland Revisited with HKDL Challenge Trail.

I revisited Hong Kong Disneyland again! Twice in the same year, that's magical isn't!

This time around I was invited for Hong Kong Disneyland Challenge Trail, a filming for NTV7 Breakfast Show. I couldn't say no can't I? What more this time around, I took the opportunity to play all the attractions in Hong Kong Disneyland that  baby princess(my little sister) didn't want to play when I was with her earlier this year.

What I like most about Hong Kong Disneyland is that it's relatively 4 hours away from Kuala Lumpur and it's easily accessible by all major flight. I flew in via Cathay Pacific (Yay, another airline to the list!) and the comfy flight prepared me for my Hong Kong Disneyland Trail Challenge! 

Anyhow, little that I know that I would be staying at Hollywood Hotel AGAIN and when I told baby princess, all see can said was "Y U NO BRING ME?" All I could do was just laugh and said "It's work baby" without telling her that I had loads of fun playing! You can read all about the Hollywood Hotel in my post here.

The Hong Kong Disneyland Trail was divided into a few challenges that involved some of the most interesting rides in Hong Kong Disneyland including the newly opened Mystic Manor.

We kicked off with a fun ride on the Big Grizzly Mountain ride! Honestly, I don't do well with high speed attractions whatmore having to focus on the challenge, which was to look for coloured cardboard and do movements accordingly. But I survived though I probably shouted some of the most ridiculous things on the ride!

The next round begins at what I thought the most innocent park in Hong Kong Disneyland - the Toy Story Land. Apparently the ride which was RC Racer we were taking wasn't any innocent, thank God I didn't have to do it. I have to thank Glen (the HKDL Challenge Trail NTV7 Breakfast Show winner!) to take the bullet for our Blue team. I did enjoyed reminiscing my childhood by loitering around The Toy Story Land - I wanna be a kid again!

After the gruesome ride, they decided that we can have a rather fun-loving ride at the Fantasyland in the
Mad Hatter Tea Cup Rides. Too bad I don't have photo on the ride, we were given equations to be solved while being spanned around! Our Blue team took it way too seriously and ended up counted everything wrongly! Talk about having engineers in our team, kidding! :P

Then the HKDL Challenge Trail continued at Main Street Usa where the Monster University(Yes, it exists people!) and the Animation Academy are for our next challenge. It all boils down to who knows how to to draw, too bad I only have hands for writing, my Mickey Mouse turned out 70 year older than he should be!

 

It then goes to the final challenge, which I had enticipated since before leaving Malaysia - the Mystic Point. It was here that that the both teams had to put our focus-brain on and focus on all the detailing in here. It was a combination of technology and tricks that gave us the chance to travel in the Antic of Lord Henry Mystic with his companion Albert the Monkey. It's such an enchanted journey that I nearly lose my focus. Definitely a MUST VISIT for anyone visiting Hong Kong Disneyland!

I'm one of Airasia Bloggers Community!

If there is anything epic about my blogging life, this is is one of it.

Well, it is official that me and blog will be a part of Airasia's Bloggers Community! 

It's funny how when I was climbing up my ladder in the blogging world, many whom I thought friends left me. Who stood on me, who disappeared, who never called...and well lots of other who. 

But am glad, it taught me how to be independent and learn the hard way to success (Not that am successful but InshaAllah am heading there, I hope)

So, when my bigger sister, Anne from Penmerah.com told me that we are gonna be a part of AirAsia's big family, I literally shout my lungs out. It was the best news of the day, especially when I receive the official email from AirAsia's representative. I've been waiting for this my whole blog-lifetime.  ;)

It is gonna be one interesting journey now going onboard with AirAsia, like one of my friends said "your dream of travelling will never stop now!"

In this dream I live, in this life I dream - Till then, keep on traveling peeps! :D

MSMW 2013 - The opportunity of a Lifetime!

Remember the time I shared the Instagram photos of me staying at the 29th Floor Suite at Berjaya Timesquare Hotel? ;)

So yeah, I was one of the Official Bloggers at MSMW 2013 held at Berjaya Times Square. Alongside Broframestone, Pen Merah and Dayang Melati. ;)

It was great to listen to all those great speakers sharing about their experiences using Social Media in their daily life as well as their businesses. All the success story inspired me to do better for myself! Gamateh ne Rayyan san! ;)

But I kinda felt that it didn't really capture the blogger's audience due to its very business-sy nature. It's more of a brand kind of thing. I did learn a few things, looking from the clients point's of view though. 

The session that I really like was the one that had Rebecca Saw, Shane The Travel Camel as well as Windy! It was all travel-blogging  and travel-social media! Love it so much! To be honest, probably the only one that I stayed perked up and energetic till the end. hehe :P

It is also here that I got the opportunity to speak at MiTBCA 2013! Talk about making contacts and networking. That is why I love attending conferences, especially that is related to travel and blogging. Nice to break away from traveling routine a bit and be back into something serious. LOL :P

Segmen YY | Mengapa saya Berblogging

Hola! 

Today, Kak Yana told me that she wants me to join her segment : Segmen YY | Mengapa saya Berblogging . So, yeah, why not? Kebetulan, aku pon takda kerja harini, yay, article dah hantar. So, nak join jugak pon boleh, just click the banner. 

So, kenapa eh ber-blogging? I started back in 2008, time tu aku baru habis spm, tunggu result, and tengah kerja. So, it was like 4 years ago, so my memory is not that sharp to recall every single details. haha..so, 

Tahlah, the only thing I remember is that, I was bored while working as an Adventure crew that I borrowed my friend's laptop and registered. Actually kalau korang rajin, boleh selak my previous postings, I thrashed out my anger towards the Americans who invaded Iraq that time. 

Frustrated much, yeah, but mostly annoyed by the ruthless invasion. So, aku rasa, the best reason why I started my blog was that aku nak suara aku didengari.

I want the world to know how painful it was to witness all the sufferings by those people in Iraq. Ater 4 years, still, nothing much change in Iraq. Keadaan still sama, the war is still on. 

Fast forward 4 years, here I am, writing for pleasure, still trying to get my voice out but most importantly now is that blogging is a new way to make great friends. Nak kata niat ber-blogging tu dah berubah 100% tak lah but in term of how and why I write probably ada perubahan. 

So, what was it that I crap just now? Oh yeah, that's basically the story behind how I started thebigsmallboy. So, what was the reason that made you guys start a blog? C'mon, meh share, aku pon nak tau. Mana tau, nanti aku boleh tulis script based on cerita korang. ;)
